Debbie and Robert Slaby’s
Sizzling S Ranch is located in the spectacular countryside
surrounding Borrego Springs, California. Slaby owns and stands the
chocolate KMSHA stallion Persuasive Illusion, but she also has ties
to Kentucky.
Paris Hilten and Santa
Ysabel, Slaby’s two-year-old fillies, are boarded and trained at
Sharon and Henry Elam’s Long Horn Valley Farm in Paris, Kentucky.
The boutique 60-acre farm stands 12 stallions and houses
approximately 40 mares, in addition to offering a variety of horses
for sale and training services. The Elam’s and Slaby are looking
forward to the fillies’ show debut in 2008.
"Paris and Ysabel are both
lovely fillies," said Debbie. "We are looking forward to showing
them next year, and are sure they will make a big splash on the show
circuit. Watch for them in 2008!"
Slaby purchased the dams of
Paris Hilten and Santa Ysabel when they were in-utero from Julie
Swanson’s Eagle Bend Ranch in Minnesota. She has raised the fillies
from the ground up with the intent of developing their talents to
the fullest, which has been entrusted to Henry’s 20 years of
training expertise at Long Horn Valley Farm.
The premier stallions at
Long Horn Valley include the 2006 KMSHA International Show Park
Division Grand Champion Holy Knight, 2006 KMSHA International Show
Park Division Reserve Champion Southern Comfort, and show sensations
Johnny Walker Black and Eagle’s Cornstalk. Watch for Holy Knight to
defend his title at the 2007 International!
Long Horn Valley Farm always has horses for
sale and is currently taking new horses to train. For more
